Overview

Chuncheon Puppet Theater, which is Korea’s first puppet theater, and Chuncheon Puppet Museum, which exhibits various materials about puppet shows, are located side by side on the Uiamho lakeside. As the Puppet Festival Chuncheon gained its popularity since its first opening in 1989, Chuncheon Puppet Theater and Chuncheon Puppet Museum were also opened in 2001 and 2004, respectively.
